SW WI Technical College Charger Tech Academy - Are you a high school student and not sure what you want to do after high school or would just like to explore some careers? Southwest Tech is excited to offer the Charger Tech Academy for students entering 9th–12th grade in the 2021-2022 school year! Learn about career options and programs through interactive, hands-on activities led by Southwest Tech instructors.

Southern Region Health Careers Camp - VIRTUAL HEALTHCARE CAREERS CAMP June 21-24, 2021
in Platteville, WI. Scenic Rivers AHEC expanded our camp offerings to the southern part of our service region in 2015. This camp follows much of the same structure designed and successfully implemented for the Northern Region Health Careers Camp; taking students that are interested in healthcare careers and introducing them to a variety of fields in their interest. This camp is located at UW-Platteville and includes travel to explore facilities like Southwest Technical College's health career training labs. Additionally, participants will visit and have hands on experiences at Southwest Health System, Grant Regional Health Center, Grant County Health Department, and UW-Platteville's Anatomy & Physiology and Exercise Science labs. High school students ages 16 and older are eligible to participate in Scenic River's Health Careers Camp at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville campus. The camp application consists of a student essay and application, as well as two teacher references. Cost of the camp is $95 which includes three nights lodging, nine meals, snacks, materials and program transportation. Camp Director: Bob Matysik, (608) 487-4878

During the two-day Camp Tech Trek, students who will be entering grades 7 through 9 in the 2020-2021 school year will participate in fun hands-on, exploratory activities related to technical careers.
